Freight & Terms

You can order online and pick up goods at our head office, or buy online for home delivery and pay securely by credit card.  Note there may be a freight surcharge with some goods in some areas - if in doubt ring us on 1800 039 047 and we can advise.  

Note: Most bulky goods have 'Freight Surcharge Applies' in their description - goods like tail paint and obstectric lube.  Ring for a freight quote prior to ordering these goods.

A note on picking up goods from Bacchus Marsh

We do not have a shop or product display at Bacchus Marsh – we have a warehouse. You cannot come in and browse goods, nor can you come in and choose what you want off the shelves. When placing your order please allow at least one working day before coming in to pick it up.  You can place a comment on the order (there is a comments box at the bottom of the page) stating when you would like to pick up the order, or give special instructions.

Freight costs:

Our standard postage and packing charge is $12.00 plus GST ($13.20 including GST) for all web orders other than those picked up at Bacchus Marsh.  Some goods are marked on the web site ‘freight surcharge’ – these goods have extra freight charges either due to their bulky nature or because they are dangerous goods. Any goods marked ‘freight surcharge’ please ring for freight costs.  Note, all FiL tail paints have freight surcharge if delivered. The web order freight cost is a flat rate for simplicity - if you order by telephone then we charge actual freight with a minimum of $12 plus GST ($13.20 inc GST). 

Freight costs apply to shipping within Australia only.

Minimum order:

There is no minimum order; however some goods have to be ordered in quantity lots (these are listed on the web site).


Customers can pay in the following way:
Credit card – Visa or MasterCard via the secure web site, phone or fax. Note that when paying by credit card on the web site all the details must match your banking details - including name and billing address - otherwise the bank web site will reject the sale and advise of a 'text error'.  

Overseas orders

GST – GST is not applicable on overseas orders.

New Zealand

We can ship most goods quickly, efficiently and economically via Australia Post to New Zealand (providing they are not dangerous goods). Please contact us for a quote.

Rest of the World

We do not normally ship outside Australia, however please contact us (contact page) via email with your requirements and we may be able to assist you.

Return Policy:

Please choose carefully. We don’t normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit note where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to do. Please retain your receipt for proof of purchase. All standard items are returnable for refund within a reasonable time after purchase provided they have not been damaged and are in new condition. Please call us in Bacchus Marsh before returning any item – items returned without our knowledge may miss out on being credited. All returns must be accompanied by their original invoice/packing slip. Custom made items cannot be returned for credit. If there is an issue with product use, it is generally a warranty issue not a return for credit issue – see the warranty section for details. Note that some ‘end of line’ and ‘bargain bin’ lines are sold ‘as is’. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Warranty on Products:

All products we sell are covered against faulty materials or workmanship. Unless otherwise stated this warranty lasts for 12 months from the date of purchase (invoice date). Note that the warranty does not cover damage due to using products outside their operating parameters, misuse or general wear and tear from using the product. If a product is defective we will repair or replace it at no cost on receipt of the defective product. If the product repair is deemed to be a maintenance problem rather than warranty (i.e. flat batteries) we will advise you a repair cost prior to returning the repaired product.
