Cito thaw monitor - LCD colour temperature gauge Instant, accurate and unbreakable! This is essential if you want to thaw your AI straws without damaging them (and therefore the chances of successful mating). This monitor is used to determine the right water temperature for warm water thawing of the straws. Simply insert the monitor into your thaw flask and adjust the hot and cold until the temperature is in the green zone. The water in the thaw flask will then be the correct temperature for thawing. You can use this handy tool to monitor temperature in your polystyrene thawing flask or Cito thaw unit as you use it. Couldn't be simpler - this monitor gives you a big number and colour indication of the correct temperature. Remember to maintain the thaw flask temperature during AI, and do not add hot or cold water while AI straws are in the flask. We recommend the IFT 12V & 240V unit to maintain thaw flask temperature.
