Sanitary Sleeves - improve your conception rates! Slide these sleeves over the sheath on your ET syringe to keep it clean and protected. These sleeves aid in maximising fertility and are used by many technicians. Given the expense of ET it pays to ensure everything possible is done to maximise conception - these sleeves can pay for themselves many times over. The sanitary sleeve is a fine plastic sleeve that fits over the gun when it is ready for ET. The gun is inserted with the sanitary sleeve in place covering the gun. It prevents any contamination from the outside of the animal being picked up by the gun and getting carried into the uterus, which may reduce conception. The gun is pushed through the sanitary sleeve only as the tip reaches the cervix, so it is totally clean at implantation.
